Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. In 1957, she also released her debut music album entitled It's time for Tina. Louise's debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda In God's Little Acre, a 1958 romantic drama. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for her performance in the New Star of the year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's teacher. In 1964, she won her next notable role when CBS contracted her to play Ginger Grant. Louise did a great task of switching between Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark different characters, which contrasted with the glamour doll image she was portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also played SG-1 on the show and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Since her debut, she's becoming a highly-acclaimed director on popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on 28, August 1965 her family moved to Toronto at the age of three. Her childhood was spent there, and later her teenage years. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She she has been there since then.
