Srushti Deshmukh began preparations for the UPSC entry in her 3rd year in engineering. She was unsure if engineering is the right career for her. It was later discovered that her dream job was working in the civil service. She decided to pursue this. Her parents encouraged her to go into civil services and have an employment in the public sector. Her motivation was never lost and she focused on becoming IAS Officer. IAS Officer. In order to be a candidate for UPSC, you have to be more diligent. While studying her engineering subjects, she also used to study for various areas of the UPSC. Each day she allocated some time for preparation. She mastered the engineering examinations in only one-and-ahalf months. She stayed out of social situations. She believes that focus and concentration are essential to pass the test to become a government official. She was focused on passing this test, and she put in a good deal of effort. In order to stay up-to-date on current affairs her routine was to go through papers. Additionally, she got lots of support online by collecting various studying materials as well as watching Rajya Sabha TV.
