The mother of Jones moved around constantly and even lived in the basement of the church. Jones' nomadic lifestyle led her to switch school every year up to high school. In high her school, she received the Gatorade Athlete Of The Year Award for Iowa Track And Field. Jones was among the most skilled hurdlers when she first entered college. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she was the winner of in the 100m hurdles. Additionally, she was on the team which was second in the 100-meter relay. Jones has won indoor hurdles at the NCAA championships in 2003 as well as 2004. Jones started her track career in the year 2005, when she graduated from university. In 2005, she was winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006, she won one of the Heusden and Ostrava racers.
Growing up from Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. The talent of Brandt was discovered in Auckland through local cast director Brandt. She took the part of Naevia as part of the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In the course of her collaboration with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam R. Raimi's producers, she was an instant actor. She starred in the hit Netflix show Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as the most watched show in 2021. In the summer of 2023's Netflix adult animated series Captain Fall, Brandt stars opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981 from Cape Town South Africa. She is a highly skilled New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After several years working in retail her promotion was to an IT consultant. Lesley has appeared in several commercials after doing a couple of modelling projects. In 2008 she completed her acting major and further trained in Meisner methods of studying. Lesley's debut prominent role with New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up in her role in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street with a support role. In the following season, she was in the Sci-fi thriller This Is Not My Life, based on anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She later portrayed the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
