Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk played a role as a young actress in commercials. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999, and during the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They were engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of that year. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of the month of May in 2016. Silk is known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was back to the set of the show. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online following.
